How to set formulas in excel sheet?

HI. I AM PLANNING TO MAKE AN EXCEL SHEET WHERE I WOULD LIKE TO STORE MY SHARE TRADING INFROMATION. I WANT TO MAKE AN EXCEL SHEET WHEREIN I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IN THE NUMBER OF SHARES BOUGHT IN ONE COLUMN AND THE PRICE IN ANOTHER AND IN THIRD COLUMN I WOULD LIKE THE VALUE TO BE GENERATED AUTOMATICALLY PLUS IN NEXT COLUMN I WILL LIKE TO HAVE THE AMOUNT OF BROKERAGE PAID IN THAT TRANSACTION AT THE RATE SPECIFIED . CAN SOMEBODY HELP ?How to set formulas in excel sheet?
Column A, Row 1: Number of Shares


Column B, Row 2: Share Price


Column C, Row 3: (enter the following formula) =(A1*B1)





When cell (C3) is highlighted, grab the little square in the bottom right corner and drag it straight down column C for as many rows as you need.How to set formulas in excel sheet?
