NOT ME TALKING....

';Right-click on a sheet tab and click on

Select All Sheets. Then click on File | Page Setup | Header/Footer tab

then click Custom Header and enter your text into one of the three

panels. If you want to enter the current date, click on the symbol

which looks a bit like a calendar - ';7'; covering ';6';.

Once this is done, OK your way out of it, and then right-click a sheet

tab once more and Ungroup Sheets.

Hope this helps.

Pete';

Thank 'Pete' whoever that is....Ask about Excel how to set footer to every sheet, not every pages?
your question needs to be clarified if you expect anyone to help you. Here are some basic terms.....

workbook = a compilation of worksheets

worksheet = the space where you've entered data

pages = the amount of data in the worksheet that will fit on one page (as specified in your page setup)

If your question is how to get page # of # to show up on the bottom of your pages, go to page setup - header/footer tab and there is an icon that will put this on your individual pages. if there's not an icon, you can click on #, then type the word OF then click on ##.

Each worksheet needs to be set up separately for the header footer.
